2. Application Process

I'm a student and don't know my exam dates yet, what should I do? Camp counselor roles have various start dates, typically between May 1st and June 25th, and finish 9 weeks after the start date. The dates you enter on your application at this stage are not set in stone. I don't have enough people to get 3 references, what do I do? You’ll need three references to get to camp, this can be any professional reference, a manager at work, coach, teacher, lecturer, supervisor, the list goes on.

Where will my interview be? Yours and our staff safety is our top priority, so this year, due to social distancing guidelines, all of our interviews are taking place online.  How long will the interview last? Your interview will take around 30 minutes, however, give yourself about 15 minutes extra, incase it goes over. Why do I need an interview? We interview everyone coming on our program to know that everyone’s doing it for the right reasons.

When do I make my first payment? After you’ve registered and given us some basic details, you'll pay your deposit. This will secure your interview, and move your summer camp application on to the next stage.

Now your application is at the 'Ready to Hire' stage you'll see a new status next to where your stage is displayed. This status highlights where you are at in the hiring journey. Visible - Camp Directors can see your profile (You'll still be able to edit and add more to it). On review - A camp is interested in your profile. You might start to receive emails or phone calls from camps so keep an eye out!

Why won't my documents upload? All documents need to be uploaded in a PDF format. Multiple pages needs to be uploaded as one file. You also can easily upload your documents using your phone camera. Download the app on either an Apple or Android device. What certificates do I need to upload? You only need to upload certificates if you are going to be a specialist at summer camp.
